Rapid Vegan Protein Explained: Ingredients, Texture & How to Use It

Choosing a vegan protein powder involves more than picking a flavour. The protein sources, sweetness and texture all affect whether it becomes something you enjoy using or something that stays at the back of the cupboard.

Rapid Supplements Vegan Protein brings together pea, brown rice and seed proteins, with a particular focus on a smoother drinking experience. Here’s a practical look at the formula and how to work it into your routine.

What Is Rapid Vegan Protein?

Rapid Vegan Protein is a plant-based protein powder made with organic pea protein, organic brown rice protein and Smooth Protein™ seed proteins. It is sweetened with stevia and offers an alternative to whey-based powders.

The 1kg bag contains approximately 33 serves, based on a 30g serving size.

What Protein Sources Does It Use?

There are five plant protein sources in the blend:

Protein source Where it fits
Organic pea protein Part of the main pea-and-rice protein blend
Organic brown rice protein Paired with pea protein
Pumpkin seed protein Part of Smooth Protein™
Watermelon seed protein Part of Smooth Protein™
Sunflower seed protein Part of Smooth Protein™

Rapid describes the finished blend as providing all nine essential amino acids. These are amino acids your body needs to obtain through food.

For exact protein, energy and carbohydrate figures, check the nutrition panel for your chosen flavour. Different flavours can have different nutritional values.

What Is Smooth Protein™?

Smooth Protein™ is the pumpkin, watermelon and sunflower seed protein blend used in Rapid Vegan. Its role in the formula includes improving texture and mouthfeel.

This is one of the product’s main points of difference: Rapid has formulated it with a smoother, creamier shake in mind. Taste and texture preferences are personal, so the liquid you choose and how you mix it will also shape the result.

Start with the suggested liquid amount, then adjust. More liquid gives a thinner shake; less gives a thicker consistency.

Is Rapid Vegan Only for Vegans?

No. It can also suit someone who prefers a plant-based shake or wants another protein option alongside their usual foods.

The formula uses plant proteins rather than whey. If you have a food allergy, check the current packaging’s full ingredient and allergen statements before use. A vegan label alone does not establish suitability for every allergy.

How to Use Rapid Vegan Protein

For a shake, mix one scoop with 200–300mL of water or almond milk, then shake or blend. Follow your bag’s directions and adjust the liquid to suit your preference.

Here are three other ways to try it.

1. A Fruit Smoothie

Blend your chosen flavour with plant milk, fruit and ice. Try Banana with frozen banana, Chocolate with berries, or Vanilla with mango. These are starting ideas—adjust the ingredients to your taste.

2. Stirred Through Oats

Prepare your oats first and allow them to cool slightly. Stir in the powder with a splash of extra liquid, adding more gradually if the mixture becomes too thick. Finish with fruit or your preferred toppings.

3. Mixed into Cream of Rice

Cook your cream of rice, let it cool slightly, then stir in the protein powder. Add water or plant milk until you reach the consistency you enjoy. This lets you choose your carbohydrate portion and add protein separately.

A protein shake mixed with water is not a nutritionally complete meal replacement. If you’re building a breakfast around it, consider the other foods you include too.

Which Flavours Are Available?

The Rapid Vegan range includes Chocolate, Banana, Choc Brownie, Vanilla, Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel and Strawberry.

Check the Rapid Vegan product page for current flavour availability.

Will It Prevent Bloating?

No protein powder can guarantee that. Individual tolerance varies, and a plant-based formula will not automatically suit everyone’s digestion. Choose based on the ingredients, your dietary needs and your own experience.
